GAUL. Massalia. Circa 490/85-470 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 8 mm, 0.55 g), Milesian standard. Head of a boar to right. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Furtwängler, Auriol, R 6. LT 244. Maurel 69. Rare. Beautifully toned and exceptionally well preserved for this difficult issue. Very light deposits on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
